SponsorChange.org Launchs new blog, The Philanthroteer
The Philanthroteer is a hub for updates regarding the latest SponsorChange.org happenings,
student loan and higher education legislation, volunteer opportunities, advice for student loan
management, personal stories, and more.
SponsorChange.org Story by WPXI
In April we gained the attention of WPXI, Pittsburgh's NBC channel. The story covers the background
of SponsorChange.org. Initially, we were scheduled to do a short interview, now we will be featured in
a full story! The piece is set to release by May, 2010
New Website Launches
In March, SponsorChange.org teamed up with the good folks of BrandingBrand to design a brand
new website we think you'll love it!
Echoing Green Update
We are keeping our fingers crossed! SponsorChange.org is currently in the second round.
Change.org Competition
Change.org launched a new campaign, 10 ideas for Change in America. During this contest
SponsorChange.org gained a lot of awareness for our cause. We ended up ranked # 23 out of
about 1,500 ideas, not bad for a start-up.
April Pilot Program Launches
In April of 2009 we launched our first pilot program. With a generous grant from the Sprout Funds
and the support of Pittsburgh Cares we mobilized skilled college graduates to some the regions
non-profit organizations.
